Alternative ways to indoor exercise!
Many of us are stuck indoors right now (some in lockdowns and others just avoiding the autumn rain!) and we ALL have that nagging sense that we ‘should’ be doing some sort of exercise but just can’t find the inspiration for another online workout! Lasers around the house!
Weave your house into a laser beam assault course with the use of lots of brightly coloured rope attached from the furniture*! Make every day feel like you’re in Mission Impossible whilst carefully manoeuvring your way around the house, avoiding the ‘lasers’.
Makes answering the door for the postman an extreme activity

Indoor parkour
Who says you need the outside world to practice your parkour skills eh? Work your way around the house, jumping on the sofas, balancing on your skirtings and jumping over the cat.
Create a crazy golf course!
Yeah yeah I know you don't own actual golf clubs but no worries as it’s time to get creative! Duck tape sticks most things to most other things so have a go at creating your own crazy gold club, be it out of a wooden spoon and an orange! Then for the course. Use old loo rolls to make tunnels or get get a pack of cards out to create triangular obstacles to pass through. Get golfing!
Cleaning
Yes cleaning. Okay, so not our first choice of fun calorie burning activity but if it has to be done, why not do it with headphones on and get your body moving?! Hoovering, dusting and scrubbing are all GREAT forms of exercise....add to that an awesome playlist and you’re good to go!
Gym ball/Space hopper
There’s a shocking lack of space hopper gifs if any of you fancy doing that over the autumn! Anyway, another fantastic way to exercise without really feeling like you are is to pick yourself up a space hopper/gym ball and bounce your way fit! Great exercise option whilst watching tv!
Climb a summit via your stairs!
Google 'mountain stair challenges' and check out how many steps it takes to reach the top of the world's famous summits! Maybe start small with Snowdon, only 4610 steps to the top...don't lose count now!
