The summer term can be super long and tiring (especially if you've just been through exams) and although lots of us are looking forward to the rest that the hols can bring, we also wanted to reassure you that it's totally normal to go into this time with a range of different emotions.
As we suddenly hit the summer, we can find that the lack of routine can make us feel a bit odd. So we wanted to think about a few ways we can we look after ourselves in this and give you some things you could try :-)
Summer can really impact our normal support networks, especially if these are based in school or college. So what other ways can we find support and connection during the holidays?
So after what has been a potentially full on term it’s important that we really allow ourselves to rest and recharge as we go into the holidays, but how can we do this well?
It's totally normal to head into the summer holidays feeling a bit anxious about what will happen at the end of August. So are there any ways we can prepare for this?
Here's a few tips around grounding yourself- a great technique you can learn to bring yourself back into the present and regain control over your anxiety
Use the wheel to identify how many different emotions you have felt today and then reflect on what made you feel that way
